
A new beta branch update for Half-Life 2 has been quietly released, updating the game’s user interface to fulfill modern standards on PC and preparing it for Valve’s new handheld PC, Steam Deck, and its Verified program. Valve’s Steam Deck begins rolling out on February 28 and will grant users to play any game in their Steam library that supports Proton, a compatibility software that allows SteamOS to run Windows-based games.
