On top of being able to use ancient magic, the player can also wield the Elder Wand in Hogwarts Legacy, but the manner in which this can be done is quite contradictory to Harry Potter canon. Throughout its lengthy and complicated history, the notorious wand has cycled through numerous different owners, so its presence in the prequel game won’t be too surprising to longstanding fans of the franchise. The way in which Hogwarts Legacy’s Elder Wand breaks Harry Potter lore may be a bit more shocking, though.
