The Unreal Engine 5 tech demo The Matrix Awakens has been revealed during The Game Awards 2021. Kicking off in 1999 and continuing through multiple sequels, the Matrix franchise takes viewers to a cyberpunk world where humanity is trapped within a virtual reality simulation of the world. Recently a Matrix game project leaked which was soon officially announced as an experience titled The Matrix Awakens.
