Embark Studios, an indie developer led by former DICE CEO Patrick Söderlund, has announced its first game ARC Raiders during The Game Awards 2021. Overseeing the development of huge franchises like Battlefield, Need for Speed, and Dead Space, Söderlund has forged an impressive resume of video game development. Despite Söderlund’s departure in 2018, EA has continued the Battlefield series with the franchise’s newest near-future release Battlefield 2042.
