New DLC for Elden Ring, entitled Shadow of the Erdtree, has been surprise-announced on Twitter by developer FromSoftware. Released just over a year ago in 2022, the open-world game became an instant hit, offering a huge map for players to explore filled with Dark Souls-esque enemy encounters.
