Meta, the parent company of Facebook, announced significant upgrades to its large language model and AI assistant. On April 18, 2024, Meta introduced Llama 3, available in two sizes with 8B and 70B parameters, respectively. These models have been integrated into Meta AI, the company’s AI assistant, heralding it as one of the most intelligent and capable AI assistants available for public use, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
